Why didn't my SMS code arrive?
Answer the questions below. Most missing codes come down to one of a few causes. Everything runs in your browser.
Is the number in international format with the right country code? If you're not sure, check it with our Phone Number Format Checker.
Did you request the code only once in the last few minutes? Many services stop sending after repeated requests, and a new request can cancel the old code.
Is it a private number (not from a free public inbox site)? Numbers on free public inbox sites are seen and reused by many people.
Does the service accept this number type (mobile, not VoIP/virtual-blocked)? Some services won't send codes to VoIP or virtual ranges and don't show an error.
Does the number's country match what the service expects? Some services only send to numbers in your account's country.
Have you checked email, the app itself, and other sign-in options? The service may have sent the code another way.
When to use a private number
If the account matters to you, don't use a public inbox. Keep in mind that activation numbers are recycled after use, so don't rely on them for account recovery or long-term logins. How long should I wait?
Follow the sending service's resend timer. Asking repeatedly can trigger limits.
Will a different free number fix it?
Sometimes, but popular public numbers are often already refused or already registered.
Do I pay if the code never comes?
On SMSPing, if the order is cancelled or times out without an SMS, the cost is returned to your site balance (once per order, balance is non-withdrawable).
