DaisySMS alternative: DaisySMS has shut down — where to get US verification numbers now
DaisySMS was a verification-number service focused on real US numbers. It has shut down. This page covers what its official notice says, what former users can do, and how SMSPing compares for US and other countries, with the drawbacks stated plainly.
Verified status (4 November 2026): the notice on daisysms.com says the shutdown was announced on 24 February 2026, when new sign-ups and top-ups were disabled, and that the site shut down on 26 March 2026. It lists [email protected] for questions.
What the official notice says

- For questions about a former account, the notice points to [email protected]. SMSPing has no access to DaisySMS accounts or balances.
What former DaisySMS users can do now
- Contact DaisySMS directly about any remaining account question, using the address in its own notice.
- Beware of look-alike sites asking for deposits under the DaisySMS name.
- Fix recovery phones. If a DaisySMS number is the recovery phone on an account, replace it with one you control.
- Pick a replacement for one-time codes and compare US stock for your exact apps.

Honest drawbacks: the $10 minimum top-up is higher than a quick $1 test; there are no long-term rentals; and SMSPing does not offer an SMS-Activate-compatible handler_api.php endpoint, so existing scripts need to be adapted. SMSPing does not publish success rates or delivery times, and nobody can guarantee that an app will accept a given number.
Moving to SMSPing, step by step
- Check US stock first. DaisySMS focused on US numbers. On SMSPing, see the United States section of the price list and the US numbers page before you top up; stock for a given app can be zero at times.
- List what you actually used. Write down the apps and countries you bought most often.
- Check prices and stock first. Open the price list (no account needed) and the country pages. If a pair you need shows no stock, wait or pick another country rather than topping up.
- Create an account on smsping.net or open @smspingnetbot.
- Top up a small amount. USDT (TRC20/ERC20/BEP20) is the main option; TRX/ETH/BNB are also supported; the minimum is $10. Balance cannot be withdrawn, so add only what you plan to spend.
- Buy one number and test. Choose the app, then the country, then an operator. The price is re-checked at purchase.
- If no code arrives, cancel the order or let it time out; the charge goes back to your SMSPing balance, once per order. See troubleshooting missing codes.
- Developers: create an API key and port your code to SMSPing's REST API. It is not a drop-in replacement for
handler_api.php. Start from the API guide, the Python example or the Node.js example.
Notes on US numbers
SMSPing's guides do not state a line type, so this page does not claim one. Whether an app accepts a number is the app's decision. Check the operator options and price for the United States in the platform, and test with one order before buying in volume. Prices on the price list are regenerated every 6 hours; the platform shows the live price.
Use responsibly
Follow the terms of the app you are verifying and the law where you live. Do not use virtual numbers for fraud, harassment, spam or to get around a platform's bans. Do not use a temporary number as a recovery phone. Brand names on this page are used only to describe those services; SMSPing is not affiliated with them.
