How to receive a Microsoft verification code

1. Sign in to SMSPing and search for the service "Microsoft" (catalog display name; the prices page may show "Microsoft / Outlook"). Do not pick "Hotmail" unless that is the exact product you need—it is a separate catalog service.
2. Choose a country and look at each carrier's price and stock.
3. Pick a carrier with stock, confirm the price and place the order to get your number.
4. Enter the number in Microsoft where it asks for your phone number and request the code.
5. Go back to your SMSPing order page, wait for the SMS (if it arrives), then copy the code into Microsoft.

Before you use a virtual number for Microsoft

• Microsoft's rules come first. Which numbers Microsoft accepts and how it sends the code are set by Microsoft. • SMS may not be offered on every account. Microsoft Support notes that the option to add a new phone number may not be available for some personal Microsoft accounts, and that Microsoft is phasing out SMS as a method of authentication and account recovery for personal accounts in favor of options such as a verified email, Microsoft Authenticator, or a passkey. If the Security page only shows those options, follow what Microsoft shows you instead of forcing an SMS path.
• VOIP numbers. Microsoft Support states that VOIP numbers cannot be added as a way to sign in or get verification codes, and asks users to add a mobile phone number. Whether a given SMSPing number will be accepted is decided by Microsoft at verification time; we don't claim any number type will pass.
• Numbers are temporary. A number only receives SMS while the order is active, so it isn't suitable as long-term security info or as the only sign-in verification path on your Microsoft account. Later logins or recovery checks may text the same number again, and you won't have it. Prefer lasting methods Microsoft recommends (Authenticator, passkey, email you control).
• No SMS? The charge goes back to your balance. While waiting you can request a cancellation. If an order is canceled or times out with no SMS, the charge is returned to your SMSPing balance, once per order; the balance is not withdrawable. • Payment. Top up your account with USDT (TRC20/ERC20/BEP20, recommended); TRX, ETH and BNB are also accepted. Minimum top-up $10.

Microsoft verification code not received?

First check that the number and country code you entered in Microsoft are correct (full international format, no leading zeros), and that you actually requested the code. Microsoft Support also points to carrier/region SMS limits, phones that block unknown senders, a full message inbox, and mistyped contact details (Microsoft may only show the last two digits of the number). If nothing arrives before the order expires, cancel it or let it time out; once the charge is back in your balance, try another country or carrier—or use another verification method Microsoft offers.
