Writing a +852 number correctly
Hong Kong mobile numbers are 8 digits in local use, often starting with 5, 6 or 9. There is no trunk prefix to drop: the same 8 digits go after the country code. In international format the number is written as +852 XXXX XXXX.
- If the app already shows +852 or "Hong Kong", type only the 8 digits. Don't add 852 again.
- If the field wants the full international number, use +852 followed by the 8 digits with no spaces required (spaces are optional for readability).
- Don't write "+852 0…" — Hong Kong mobiles do not use a leading 0 before the 8-digit local number.
- Copy the number from your order exactly rather than retyping it.

Before you buy: check the target app
- Is SMS offered? Some apps may offer a code by call or in-app message instead of SMS. A number on SMSPing receives SMS, so choose the SMS option when the app offers one. SMSPing orders show SMS messages only.
- Does the app accept virtual or temporary numbers? Some apps refuse them, or limit how many accounts one number can verify. An app rejecting the number is separate from SMS delivery.
