- Choose a country and look at each carrier's price and stock.

Before you use a virtual number for Apple
- Apple's rules come first. Which numbers Apple accepts and how it sends the code are set by Apple. - Numbers are temporary. A number only receives SMS while the order is active, so it isn't suitable as a long-term trusted phone number or as the only two-factor authentication recovery number on your Apple Account. Later sign-ins may need an SMS to the same number again, and you won't have it. Prefer adding a lasting trusted phone number and at least one trusted device you control.
- Trusted device vs SMS. Apple can also show a six-digit code on a trusted device you're already signed in to. This page is only about receiving an SMS code on a number you ordered for the "Apple" service on SMSPing.
- No SMS? The charge goes back to your balance. While waiting you can request a cancellation. If an order is canceled or times out with no SMS, the charge is returned to your SMSPing balance, once per order; the balance is not withdrawable. Apple verification code not received?
First check that the number and country code you entered in Apple are correct (full international format, no leading zeros), and that you actually requested the code. Apple Support notes you can choose text or phone call for the code, and that on iPhone you may need to check Messages filters for Unknown Senders. If nothing arrives before the order expires, cancel it or let it time out; once the charge is back in your balance, try another country or carrier. Can I use the number as my trusted phone number for Apple two-factor authentication?
Not as a lasting one. The number only receives SMS while your order is active, so don't rely on it as your only trusted phone number.
