Writing a +55 number correctly
Brazilian mobile numbers in national form are typically 11 digits: a 2-digit area code (DDD) plus a 9-digit mobile subscriber number that usually starts with 9. In international format the country code goes in front, so the number becomes +55 followed by those 11 digits (for example +55 11 9xxxx-xxxx).
- Copy the number from your order exactly rather than retyping it.
- If the app already shows +55 or "Brazil", enter only the national digits after the country code. Don't add 55 again.
- If the field wants the full international number, use +55 followed by the digits shown in your order.
- Don't double the country code, and don't invent a local trunk format the order didn't show — use what SMSPing displays for that purchase.
Before you buy: check the target app
- Is SMS offered? Some apps may offer a code by call or in-app message instead of SMS. A number on SMSPing receives SMS, so choose the SMS option when the app offers one. SMSPing orders show SMS messages only.
- Does the app accept virtual or temporary numbers? Some apps refuse them, or limit how many accounts one number can verify. An app rejecting the number is separate from SMS delivery.
